Tattoo art work from Eddie “edball” tana creator of LOW PROFILE tattoo needles

Tattoos Done by Eddie Tana Creator of Low Profile Tattoo Needles and owner of www.octattoo.com

ok a few people have asked for me to do this video on how to make tattoo needles so here it is. now i thought long and hard about this cause i didnt want the local hack to see this and think he was a master tattoo god……. but this wont teach you how to tattoo only make the needles, and it is becoming a lost art. out of 40 some shops in my area only two of us make our own needles (was told this by board of health) so i figure if i can help preserve a lost art form then that is a good thing and will out weigh any hack that learns from this. nothing beats an aprenticeship (ok i cant spell sue me) but nothing beats that NOTHING. so to all the hacks out there if your going to do this do it the right way and learn from a pro….. dont just get a starter kit and mess a ton of people up. surgeons dont buy scaples and think they will become a doctor do they???? not they learn and pay their dues and so should you….. if your worth while someone will give you a shot, if they dont well……maybe you dont belong in the business and if your not willing to do it the right way you dont belong so take the hint….. we call you guys scratchers for a reason so put down the starter kit and do it right……. now if you have a question about how i’m doing something ask me and i’ll explain it or make another video to show you. a closed mouth dont get fed and a question un-asked wont get answered…..or something like that anyway

Star brite is the best but it depends on the colors you want. Just buy a full set dont buy colors here and there you’ll waste money.
The easiest way is check the armacher bar and should be a dime thickness for a liner and a nickle thickness for a shader, between the spring and the bar.
Good luck

Wrist Tattoo Designs ? Are They A Good Choice For You

Tattoos are a new fashion statement these days and people love to wear various signs and drawings on their skin. There are plenty of tattoo artists that became famous because their designs are almost perfect. If you go to the tattoo parlor without knowing where to ink your first tattoo, you might want to consider wrist tattoo designs.

As soon as you decide what tattoo type you want, you will also have to do some serious thinking about where do you want it placed. You can always go for a wrist tattoo because they are very popular these days but before doing that you should read on very carefully.

- You’ll have to endure the pain. Every tattoo without exception will cause pain but a wrist tattoo is more painful than any other tattoo. That happens because the skin on your wrist is less thick than on the rest of your body. On the other side a wrist tattoo is usually small and it won’t take too long to ink.

- Your skin will require a longer time to heal mainly because the wrist is a very exposed part of the body. The healing period is usually two or more weeks.

- This type of tattoo requires additional touch up work. Because the wrist is very exposed there’s a big chance that the tattoo ink will fade very fast. A wrist tattoo will need touch up work sooner than another one located on other part of your body.

- You can hide it very easily. The most effective way to do that is by wearing long sleeved shirts. Also when it’s warm outside, you can cover it with a bracelet or a watch. If you’re planning to get a professional job or you already have it, it would be best to hide it though.

- A tattoo wrist design is pretty cheap. Compared to the tattoos on other parts of the body, this type of tattoo is very small and that’s why the price is so low.

The tattoo artists establish the costs considering the size and the colors of each model but in most cases people only choose less than three colors.

Many people see a tattoo as a form of expression and that why the location is just as important as the tattoo design. Depending on what part of your body you want tattooed, the artist will suggest the size of the tattoo. If you love discretion, then a wrist tattoo is definitely the best choice.

4 Steps to getting the Perfect Lower Back Tattoo Design

Lower back tattoo designs are of many kinds but there are four steps which you should follow to get the perfect lower back tattoo. Here are the steps.

Be Ready

Modern techniques are now available to get the perfect design but there are customers who are not satisfied with their tattoos. It is very important to be mentally prepared before you get a tattoo. A tattoo is permanent so make sure that you do not take any hasty decisions.

Design Selection

This is the second most important thing in getting a tattoo. Do not ever select a design just because your friends or family thought so. It should be a personal choice because tattoos are permanent. You will need to select a stencil and the color preference which you can then take to your tattooist.

Getting a Proper Stencil

It is very important to get a high quality stencil. Every tattoo has a unique stencil which is set into the skin with the help of a liner. An inferior stencil that has been hand traced can make a poor tattoo. The color reference you choose will act as the guide for the perfect tattoo so choose it with care.

Test Your Tattoo

Before you get the real tattoo done it might be a good idea to get a false tattoo of the exact same type and size and on the exact part of your body where you have chosen to place your real tattoo.

See if the website or tattoo design studio you have chosen has such a facility. Getting a false tattoo done will prepare you for the real deal. You will also be able to change the place of your body where you have gotten the tattoo later if you find it misfits.

Choosing the Right Artist

Choosing the right artist is very essential if you want to have the perfect tattoo. There are three qualities to the right artist: portfolio, experience and enthusiasm. A good artist will always have a portfolio of their finished work. Check for the quality of lower back tattoo design on their portfolio. It is not a good sign if an artist does not have a portfolio.

An artist who has experience of a few years is always a good choice. Thirdly and most importantly, the artist should share the same enthusiasm as you have for your tattoo. The attitude of an artist shows the quality of his works.

These are the four steps that would help you to get the perfect lower back tattoo design.
